Winners of Designing the Ballot Box
The project “Redesigning Democratic Representation”, led by Professors Friedrich von Borries and Sven T. Siefken, held a competition for redesigning the ballot box. Over 50 submissions have arrived, providing suggestions for the ballot box itself, election notification and many other steps surrounding the electoral process. An international and interdisciplinary jury, composed of political and administrative practitioners, academics and designers gave the design awards to four of the submissions.
